Study: If Your Business Doesn’t Have a Blog You will Be Out of Business in 2012

Having a blog surrounding your business is essential, as it’s the end of static web strategy as we know it. Everyday, new blogs emerge covering various sectors of modern business. More importantly, these digital outlets are fueling the web and changing the way we publish content online. Blogging is not just for college kids anymore.  We’re seeing that it is a great way to position business owners and cultivate more sales.

The strategy behind this is to create a blog surrounding a sector of business and ultimatly a particular company or brand.  The problem is, with the exponential growth of the business blogging sector, there’s a very small window of opportunity to get your idea out in front and in the game.

Why is this so important?  Because blogging, or what we’re calling “content marketing”, is literally fueling search engine and social media strategy. Google and other search engine providers are now calculating organic search rankings by popularity of content and through social recommendations.

Two things that can be harnessed with a self-hosted WordPress blog.

Business owners, don’t let those stale websites slip your business into prehistoric times. Stay in the game by supercharging your online presence and creating a new content marketing strategy today!
